Hey, what's up, guys? I'm Ryan from Extreme Terrain. And today, I'm here with the Tuffy tailgate security enclosure fitting your '97 to '06 Wrangler TJ. This is gonna be for the Jeep owner looking for the ultimate option in affordable protection for their TJ's cargo area. This is for those of you who are looking to take full advantage of the small amount of usable storage area that they have. This is a great solution to prevent theft when you're out and about, and it provides the most amount of lockable protection without the need to remove the rear seat. This enclosure is made of heavy-duty 16 gauge steel for strength and has a black powder coating to provide a corrosion resistance and sleek look. This is designed to be tamper proof and last you a long time and it even has a limited lifetime warranty. It provides 5,500 cubic inches of usable, lockable storage space and it's even strong enough to provide extra storage on top. Now, this is designed to be an easy bolt-on install. So there's no drilling required as it reuses the factory mounting holes and hardware. Now, this is one of your most affordable options on the site of its kind at just under $200 and it even has great five-star reviews from happy customers. As far as install goes, I'm gonna give this a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter since you can install this in about an hour using basic hand tools. Now with that being said, let's hop into the install. So the first thing we're gonna do is fold and tumble the rear seat so we can access some factory hardware underneath. You do this by pressing this latch up, folding that down, and then you can just flip the whole thing up. So next we're gonna take these seat brackets off. You're gonna have two bolts in there, and they're both gonna be a T40 Torx. You have one at the bottom and one's gonna be underneath of this carpet here. You also wanna note the position of where this slider is, and you can mark that with a marker before you take that bolt out. Now we're gonna do the same thing for the other side.So next we're gonna take this center bolt for the rear seat belts out using a T50 Torx. So once you have everything removed, we're gonna go ahead and install the security enclosure. Now if those seals for the roll bars do manage to come off, you'll need to reinstall those. So once you get this thing pushed all the way down, you're gonna line up this center slot with that bolt hole for the seat belt, and then we're going to reinstall that bolt.Next, we're gonna reinstall the seat brackets. Now we'll need to slide them underneath of the carpet and underneath of the new security enclosure. So after you get this thing in and seated, you can reinstall your seat brackets and install the hardware. We're gonna use that same T40 Torx to tighten these back up. We're gonna do the same thing for the other side. After you get those brackets fully installed, we're gonna reinstall the seat belt bolt. And we're gonna use our T50 Torx to tighten that back up.So along with that middle seat bolt hole, Tuffy provides two extra holes. Now what you can do is you can drill holes through there, through the tub, and install hardware that's not included. This is gonna provide extra security to this whole unit. We are not gonna do that. So the next thing we're gonna do is shut our seat. So that's gonna wrap up my review and install. For more videos like this, check us out at extremeterrain.com.
